Moon Walk Coming Oct. 24

The annual Moon Walk is coming back to the Ice Age Trail on Oct. 24.
The walk is a non-competitive recreational distance walk along the Tomorrow River State Trail. It takes place on the Saturday evening closest to the autumn harvest moon (the first full moon after the fall equinox).
Participants can walk four, eight or 12 miles under the night sky safely with family and friends with nutrition/nature stops along the way. The course will have pumpkin mile markers and costumes are optional.
This is an all-ages event. The 12 mile walk begins at 6 PM; four and eight-mile walks begin at 7 PM.
Walkers are encouraged to bring flashlights and head lamps.
Check-in is from 5:30 PM until the start of your chosen event. Registration cost is $5 through Oct. 19 and $20 after.
The walk begins in the Copps Parking lot, 1850 Plover Road, Road.
