Amid a backdrop of colorful Church St. foliage, Belts’ Soft Serve announces its final day of the season Sunday morning.
The staple ice cream stand finishes its 35th year in operation at the highly-visible Division Street location which, despite limited parking, has long lines of customers daily waiting for their favorite treat.
In July, Belts’ was named the best ice cream shop in the state based on social media traffic.
Famous for its large cone, Belts’ opened in 1981 and now serves over 30 flavors of flurries as well as shakes, malts and slushies. Their flavor of the day can be seen on their marquee or Facebook page.
Belts’ is open daily from 11 AM to 10 PM and typically opens to great fanfare in late February.
