2015 Christmas Parade Date, Theme Announced

The city’s Downtown Christmas Parade will be held Nov. 20.
The 2015 theme is “Frozen Holiday”, according to the Association of Downtown Businesses, which sponsors the parade annually.
The city’s Public Protection Committee on Monday night approved closing the street to traffic for the parade, as the police dept. cited no problems with the event in past years.
The parade route runs the downtown length of Main St., beginning at the Church St. intersection and following along the Downtown Square.
The parade kicks off at 6:15 PM.
