Hot Boxing Bust: At 1:10 AM, police were called investigate a vehicle parked on private property on the 1000 block of Main St. in Stevens Point. Two teenage men were found in the vehicle arrested for THC possession.

Refuse The News: A 58-year-old Stevens Point man called police to report that several bundles of newspapers had been dumped in his dumpster on the 300 block of Michigan Ave. without his permission.

Mailbox Fatality: A 71-year-old Stevens Point called police at 11:37 AM to report that his mailbox on the 5300 block of Old Hwy. 18 had been damaged.

Harassment: A 25-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 9:34 PM to report she’d been receiving harassing phone calls and text messages.

Crash: After crashing his vehicle on the 3100 block of Leahy Ave. in Stevens Point, a 17-year-old Plover man was charged with operating without insurance and unsafe backing of his vehicle.

October 17

OWI: After police responded to an accident on the 1600 block of Clark St. in Stevens Point, a 45-year-old Stevens Point woman was charged with her third offense of operating while under the influence at 1:37 AM.

Bike Theft: A 21-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 2:25 AM to report her dark blue Gary Fisher bicycle had been stolen while it was locked up near Division and Clark St.

Missed A Detail: After receiving his vehicle back from a private detailer with a new dent in the driver’s side door, a 45-year-old Stevens Point man called police to report the damage.

Crash: After causing a two vehicle crash on Nebel and Church St. at 11:44 AM, a 66-year-old Stevens Point man was charged with failure to keep his vehicle under control and operating without insurance.

October 18

Battery: A 25-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for battery after police responded to an assault on the 900 block of Main St. at 1:56 AM.

OWI: After striking the curb along the 1700 block of College Ave. in Stevens Point at 3:00 AM, 27-year-old man was charged with and arrested for operating while under the influence.

Truck Theft: A 38-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 11:27 AM to report her 1994 red Chevy S-10 had been stolen from the 1100 block of Francis St.
