E. Everett Durrant

E. Everett Durrant, 90, Almond, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at his son’s residence.

The funeral service will be held at noon Monday, Nov. 2, at the Almond United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Paul Gregersen officiating. Military graveside services will be in the East German Methodist Cemetery in Almond.

Visitation will be at the church from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, and again from 11 a.m. Monday until the service.

Hardell-Holly Funeral Home in Almond assisted with
arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.hollyfuneralhome.com.

Mr. Durrant was born March 11, 1925, in Waupaca, a son of
the late Kirk and Hazel (Lyons) Durrant.

He was married to Ruth Pagel Oct. 24, 1953, at the Almond
United Methodist Church. She died Feb. 26, 2015.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked
for many years at American Motors.

He was a member of Almond United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, Dale Durrant, Waupaca; two brothers,
William (Pauline) Durrant and Ken (Donna) Durrant, both of Waupaca; three grandsons,
Joe Durrant, Jim Durrant and Eric (Brittanie) Durrant, all of Waupaca; and four
great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one son, Lea; and two
sisters, Charlotte and Lorraine.
