Letter: SPARTA Accepting Used Books for April Sale

To the Editor-
In the past, Stevens Point Area Retired Teachers’ Association was getting ready for its October book sale.
As we announced earlier, we will not have a sale this October but are preparing for a sale in April, 2016.
We continue to look for space where we can store our books and have a sale but until that time, we will take in books once a month, excluding December, at Storage Unlimited, 2640 Post Road in Plover, WI.
The indoor storage unit is located in Village Plaza, across from the Plover Post Office, at the corner of Chestnut Drive and Post Road and is between Galaxy Hobby and the Green Bay and Western Railroad.
We will post a sign at the front door.
We will start taking in books at the unit Thursday, October 29 and Monday, November 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Because we have limited storage space, we are taking gently used books and are unable to take encyclopedias or magazines.
Starting in January, we will accept donations of books the third Monday of every month. Thank you for your past donations and we hope that you will consider us when you are ready for your books to go to a new home.
In spring we will announce the dates and location of the April Sale. After sales last April and June and our move out of Jackson School, we are ready to continue the tradition. If you have any questions, please call Nancy at 715-344-2598.
