Catheryn V. Tuttle

Catheryn Viola Tuttle, 87, Plover, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015.

Mrs. Tuttle was born Feb. 23, 1928, in Nickerson, Minn., a
daughter of the late Lawrence and Myrtle Casadont. She was salutatorian for her
high school graduation class in 1945.

She was married to Keith Tuttle Oct. 3, 1953. They recently
celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.

They raises their family in Cloquet, Minn., where they were
active in their church. She served as Sunday school teacher, choir director,
church secretary and elder’s wife.

She worked as a school secretary and in a pharmacy, and later
as a bookkeeper in a welding shop and in hospital administration.

They retired to Friend, Neb., his boyhood home, in 1984 and lived
there until 2004, when they moved to Beloit to be closer to family. In March
2015, they followed son, Philip, to Plover.

Survivors include three sons, John, Philip and Thomas; one daughter,
Gale; grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Marie
Johnson, Betty Kalberg, Esther Soper and Grace Holte; and two brothers,
Lawrence “Bud” Casadont Jr. and Ronald Casadont.
