Donata “Nettie” Hintz
Donata “Nettie” Hintz, 99, Amherst, died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015. She had been living at the Stevens Point Care Center.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst, with the Rev. Dan Hackel officiating. Burial will be at the St. James Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, with a rosary service at 4:45 p.m., and at the church from 10 a.m. Monday until the Mass.

Mrs. Hintz was born March 23, 1916, in the town of New Hope,
a daughter of the late Lucian and Anna Zblewski, the third oldest of 12.
She was married to David J. Hintz June 11, 1937, at Sacred
Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. He died in 1985.
She spent her entire adult life in the Amherst area as a
homemaker, raising her family.
She was active in St. James Catholic Church, serving as
president of the Ladies Sodality for a number of years.
Survivors include four children, Robert A. (Betty) Hintz,
Rothschild, Rita (Brian) Kozlowski, Stevens Point, Roman (Sue) Hintz, Plover,
and David J. (Jennifer) Hintz Jr., Amherst; one brother, Joe (Karen) Zblewski,
Albion, Mich.; one sister, Esther Zblewski, Madison; 13 grandchildren; and 30
great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five sisters and four
brothers.
