Skibba Among Police Chief Finalists

The Stevens Point Police and Fire Commission on Wednesday announced four finalists for Stevens Point Police Chief.
The finalists are Martin Skibba, who has been interim chief for the Stevens Point Police Dept. since last April; Daniel M. Meister, police chief for the City of Columbus, Wis.; Harold J. Minch, Capt. of the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, Naples, Fla.; Julie Nash, Cmdr. of Patrol Operations in Geneva, Ill.
Former Police Chief Kevin Ruder retired from his position in the department, which he held from 2009-2015.
The Commission is expected to make its final decision by the end of the year.
