Week 2 Football Playoffs This Weekend

This weekend marks week two of the WIAA football playoffs.
The 8-2 SPASH Panthers varsity football team is set to take on the undefeated, top-ranked Kimberly Papermakers on their home turf on Friday, Oct. 30 at 7:00 PM. The Panthers took their first playoff victory with a 24-13 win over the the D.C. Everest Evergreens on October 23.
The Papermakers enter the game following a 38-14 win over the Green Bay Preble Hornets last Friday.
The winner of Friday’s game will take on either the Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes or the Appleton North Lightning on November 6 at 7:00 PM.
For those who plan to attend the game, the Kimberly High School Football Field is located at 545 S. John St. in Kimberly.
