Mary Alice “Mitzi” Lanke, 79, Plover, died Saturday, Oct.
31, 2015, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital.


A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7,
at St. Bronislava Catholic Church in Plover, with the Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating.
Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Bloomer in the spring.


Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Saturday
until the Mass.


Pisarski Community Funeral Home & Cremation Center of
Plover assisted with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at
www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.


Mrs. Lanke was born March 6, 1936, in Bloomer, a daughter of
the late J. Charles and Alice F. (Yost) Diederich. She was a graduate of McDonell
High School in Chippewa Falls.


She was married to Allen Lanke Oct. 24, 1959, at St. Ann
Catholic Church in Milwaukee.


She worked as a bookkeeper for many businesses, as well as
for her husband’s business in Plover, A Lanke Electric Inc.


She was a member of St. Bronislava Church, where she
volunteered.


Survivors include her husband, Allen, Plover; four children,
Robert Lanke, Plover, Stephanie (Fabian) Levandoski, West Allis, Janice (Kurt)
Achterkirch, Greenfield, and Kevin Lanke, Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister,
Elizabeth (Roger) Martineau, Plover; one brother, Francis (Shirley) Diederich,
Madison; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.


She was also preceded in death by three brothers, James (at
age seven), Joseph and J. William (Mary) Diederich.
