A two-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon has left one person dead and another injured.

Emergency crews responded to the accident at the intersection of Plover Road and Grant Avenue at about 4 PM. Police on the scene said one car was struck by a westbound vehicle as it entered the intersection to turn. Both drivers were taken to Ministry St. Michael’s for treatment, where one later died.

The names of the victims were not immediately released.
