Three generations inducted into Polish Legion of America

In September, The Polish Legion of American Veterans inducted a three-generation family (a father, son and grandson) into its ranks. The three men who joined the Pope John Paul II’s Polish Legion of American Veterans Post 185 are Florian Chojnacki, Richard Chojnacki and Brett Chojnacki. They were accompanied in the photo by Jerry Kirschling, Post 185’s sergeant-at-arms. They were sworn in to the Post on Sept. 28 by Commander John Pionkowski. Having three members of the same family join the same PLAV Post is a highly unusual occurrence. (Contributed photo)
