Crimestoppers Seek Info in Dog Shooting

Local law enforcement is seeking information regarding the shooting of a pet dog in September.
The Portage County Sheriff’s Office and Portage County Crime Stoppers are searching for information after a German short-haired pointer named
Bree was shot and wounded on September 17, on Biron Drive in the Town of Plover.
The dog’s owners say they let Bree outside and when they went to let her back in, they discovered she had been shot with a pellet gun. They immediately took Bree to the veterinarian. She has recovered but there are large medical bills and the owners are concerned about someone who shot at a family pet,
