Clyde William Hinkle, 75, Plover, died Monday, Nov. 9, 2015,
while under the care of Heartland Hospice.


A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.


Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center of
Plover assisted with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.


Mr. Hinkle was born Jan. 8, 1940, in Carlisle, Pa., a son of
the late Clyde Alburtna Hinkle and Edna Marie (Mortorff) Hinkle. He grew up on
a farm in Mount Holy, Pa.


He was married to Pamela Arline Difford Nov. 14, 1964. They
had been married for 50 years.


He worked at Masland Carpets in Pennsylvania, was an advance
man for an illusionist show in the
1970s, managed Cody
Enterprises in Wyoming and drove truck over the road, as well as for Lullabye
Furniture in Stevens Point.


He was a Boy Scout leader, mechanic and traveler, who
traveled to all 48 continental U.S. states. He also qualified for the Olympics
in archery with a perfect score of 300.


Survivors include his wife, Pamela Hinkle, Plover; four sons,
Clyde Winthrop (Kathy Russell) Hinkle, Kissimmee, Fla., Robert Dennis (Rene
Tracy) Hinkle, Plover, John William Hinkle, Toledo, Ohio, and Kenneth Charles
(Anne Koopman) Hinkle, North Liberty, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
