Donald E. Hudson, 73, town of Hull, died at his home Monday,
Nov. 9, 2015.


A funeral service, concluding with military honors, will
begin at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, at Boston Funeral Home in Stevens Point.


A time of sharing memories and stories will be at the
funeral home from 1 p.m. Saturday until the service.


Memorials may be made to his family.

Mr. Hudson was born March 11, 1942, in Milwaukee, a son of
the late Roy and June (Roeber) Hudson. He grew up in Milwaukee and attended high
school there.


He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Oct. 17, 1960. The
majority of his military career was spent overseas. He received an honorable
discharge Oct. 19, 1964, with the rank of lance corporal E3.


He was married to Judy Thiemer in 1966. They later divorced.


He was married to Susan Thompson Aug. 15, 1982.


They moved to the Stevens Point area where he became the
head of maintenance at St.
Paul’s United Methodist
Church. He worked there until retiring.


He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and traveled and
camped.


Survivors include his wife, Susan; five children, Holly
(Mark) Hanson, Kelly Hudson, Kimberly (James Melter) Hutchison, Jaimi (Scott)
Lamprich and Nick Hutchison; two sisters, Donna (Jerry) Cribben and Lynn
Sobecke; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
