Betty J. Engebretson, 81, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Nov.
10, 2015, at the Portage County Health Care Center.


Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at
the Plover – Shuda Funeral Home in Plover. Burial will be in the Plainfield
Cemetery.


Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Friday until
the services.


Condolences may be offered online at www.shudafuneral.com.


Mrs. Engebretson was born Aug. 19, 1934, in Portage County, a
daughter of the late George and Nona (Kramer) Getzloff.


She was married to Ben Sawyer for many years, and they had six children together. He preceded her in death.


She was later married to Bernard Engebretson.


Survivors include her husband, Bernard Engebretson, Stevens
Point; five children, Deb (John) Ammel, Almond, Ben (Sheri) Sawyer, Terry
(Sheila) Sawyer, and Scott (Kathy) Sawyer, all of Bancroft, and Dawn (James)
Robinson, town of Rome in Wood County; three brothers, Eldred (Buelah)
Getzloff, Gary Getzloff and Lowell (Debbie) Getzloff; one sister, Karen
(Charles) Ulrich; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.


She was also preceded in death by one son, Tom Sawyer; one
brother, Jack Getzloff; and two great-granddaughters.
