November 6

Crash: An 87-year-old Stevens Point woman who crashed her vehicle at the intersection of Union St. and Maria Dr. at 9:26 AM was issued a citation for inattentive driving.

Playing Truant: A 16-year-old Stevens Point boy was cited for truancy at 10:16 AM at SPASH.

Damage at Dala’s: A window at Dala’s Import Oasis on the 900 block of Main St. was reported damaged by an unknown suspect at 11:45 AM.

Living Condition Concerns: A 48-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 1:30 PM to report concerns over unsafe living conditions at a home on the 600 block of Johns Dr.

Possible Break-In: A 51-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 4:30 PM to report a possible attempted break-in by an unknown suspect at her home on the 500 block of Johns Dr.

Domestic Abuse: A 35-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested and cited for domestic abuse, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct after police responded to a disturbance on the 600 block of Johns Dr. at 4:46 PM.

Mailbox Fatality: A 43-year-old Amherst Junction woman called police at 11:47 PM to report a brick had been thrown and damaged her mailbox on the 2100 block of Sunset Lake Rd.

Third OWI: After being pulled over near Green Ave. and Robert Place in Stevens Point at 10:36 PM, a 43-year-old Plover man was arrested and cited for his third offense of operating while under the influence and disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle.

November 7

Domestic Arrest: Police were called with a report of an unwanted male at a residence on the 300 block of Frontenac Ave. in Stevens Point at 1:23 AM. The 37-year-old man was arrested and cited for domestic abuse and disorderly conduct.

Theft: A 62-year-old Stevens Point woman was arrested for theft after attempting to steal a Packers magnet and window decal, multiple greeting cards, clothing, a light fixture and some mechanical pencils from the Stevens Point Fleet Farm at 10:00 AM.

Sage Chicanery: A 19-year-old Stevens Point woman reported sending $900 to a spiritual healer for three hours of service. The money was never returned.

Heroin Arrest: During a welfare check at 8:45 PM on the 3400 block of Church St. a 26-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

Unbelted And Underage: An 18-year-old Random Lake woman was cited for underage alcohol consumption and not wearing her seatbelt after a traffic stop on Division and Ellis St. in Stevens Point at 11:24 PM.

November 8

OWI: After being pulled over for failing to stop at a red light on Center Point Dr. and Water St. in Stevens Point at 2:24 AM, 26-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man was cited for operating while under the influence and failing to stop at the red light.

Theft: A 21-year-old Stevens Point woman called police at 10:30 AM to report her cell phone charger and some cash was stolen from her vehicle on the 1500 block of Wyatt Ave.

Unwanted Person: A 34-year-old Stevens Point woman was arrested for misdemeanor bail jumping after police responded to a report of an unwanted person on the 2200 block of Dixon St. at 11:04 AM.

Crash: After causing a two vehicle crash on the 3200 block of Church St. in Stevens Point, a 63-year-old man was cited for violating a red traffic signal.

Theft: A 42-year-old Stevens Point woman reporter her black mountain bike had been stolen from 300 block of West Cornell Ave. at 11:27 PM.
