OWI: A 33-year-old Appleton man was cited for operating while under the influence after police pulled him over on Illinois Ave. and Algoma St. in Stevens Point at 2:20 AM.
Warrant Arrest: A 23-year-old Plover man was arrested on an outstanding warrant at 10:40 AM on the 5700 block of Sandpiper Dr. in Stevens Point.
Ouch: An ambulance was called to the 8000 block of Cty. Rd. GG in Almond after a 65-year-old man cut his arm with a chainsaw at 11:57 AM.
Don’t Text And Drive: A 27-year-old Stevens Point woman was pulled over and given a warning for texting and driving near Madison St. and Church St. at 12:18 PM.
Obstructed Driving: At 2:07 PM, a 34-year-old Antigo man was pulled over for driving with an obstructed view and littering on Hwy. 66 near Cty. Rd. Y in Stevens Point. A citation was issued for having no proof of insurance.
Hit-And-Run: Police were called after a 77-year-old Stevens Point woman was the victim of a hit-and-run accident on the 2400 block of Plover Rd. at 3:57 PM. Suspect is a 29-year-old Almond woman.
