Donald E. Hudson, age 73, Town of Hull, WI, died at home on November 9, 2015.

Donald was born March 11, 1942 to the late Roy and June (Roeber) Hudson in Milwaukee, WI. He grew up there and attended High School.

He enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corp. on October 17, 1960. The majority of his military career was spent overseas. He received an honorable discharge on October 19, 1964 with the rank of Lance Corporal E3.

In 1966, he married Judy Thiemer and they later divorced.

He met and married Susan Thompson on August 15, 1982. They enjoyed country living until moving to the Stevens Point area where Donald became the head of maintenance at St Paul United Methodist Church. He worked there until retiring.

Donald was always protective of his family, and enjoyed living off the land as an avid fisherman and hunter.  He enjoyed traveling and camping. Donald loved being out on the water; he especially prized wreck diving. In his spare time, he liked to draw and paint.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Holly (Mark) Hanson, Kelly Hudson, Kimberly Hutchison (James Melter), Jaimi (Scott) Lamprich, Nick Hutchison; grandchildren, McKenzie, Jacob, Emma, Gracie, Zach, Bronson, Cora, Kayla, Michael, Jonathon, Lucas, Traven, and Mason; great grandchildren, Aiden, Ava, Shae, and Gracelynn. He is also survived by his sisters, Donna (Jerry) Cribben and Lynn Sobecke.

A Time of Sharing Memories and Stories will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Boston Funeral Home. A Funeral Service, with military honors concluding, will begin at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Donald’s family.

Online condolences may be made at www.bostonfuneralhome.net.
