Arthur E. Krueger

Arthur E. Krueger, 78, Scandinavia, a former Plover worker
and Merrill resident, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015, at the Appleton Medical
Center in Appleton.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20,
at Scandinavia Lutheran Church in Scandinavia, with the Rev. Mark E. Sabin
officiating.
Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Friday until
the service.
Voie Funeral Home in Iola assisted with arrangements.

Mr. Krueger was born Oct. 20, 1937, in Iola, a son of the
late Arthur and Adeline (Olson) Krueger.
He was married to Carole Jones June 11, 1960 at the
Northland Lutheran Church.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958.
He worked in retail lumber for Wolahan’s Lumber in Plover,
Eagle Home Center in Eagle River and the Trust Plant at ROW and Trantow’s, both
in Merrill.
His interest in woodworking led him to complete all the
finish work at their home in Merrill.
He was a former member of the Scandinavia baseball team and
the Scandinavia Booster Club.
Survivors include his wife, Carole; one daughter, Kristie
(Dale) Schulz; one son, Thomas (Lisa) Krueger, Rochester, Minn.; and four
grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Charlene
Rasmussen.
