Helen B. Burkart, 88, Stevens Point, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2015, at Ministry St. Michael’s Hospital. She recently resided at Maple Ridge Assisted Living in Plover.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jerzy Rebacz presiding. Private interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the Mass.

Boston Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. Condolences
may be offered online at www.bostonfuneralhome.net.

Mrs. Burkart was born Dec. 10, 1926, in Milwaukee, a
daughter of the late John A. and Lamertha M. (Long) Roeglin. She grew up in
Milwaukee, attended local schools and graduated from Messmer High School.

She was married to William Burkart in 1948. They later
divorced.

In her earlier years, she was employed as a secretary at
Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance. She worked at Point Credit Services for 30
years and retired from Carlson Maintenance & Management.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She traveled abroad to Italy to explore the culture that was
the root of her Catholic faith.

Survivors include one son, Thomas (Aggie) Burkart, Plover; one
daughter, Jill (Shane) Grosskreutz, Waupaca; two daughters-in-law, Annette
Burkart and Mary Burkart; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Jeffery and
Robert Burkart; and two sisters, Margaret Menz and Jeanne Roeglin.
