For the City Times
Operation Bootstrap Director Roseann DeBot (cnter) accepts a donation of 71 new children’s coats from Knights of Columbus Council 1170 charity committee members Perry Pazdernik (left) and Bob Ostrowski (right).
Debot said the coats were much needed and welcome.
Nationwide, the Knights of Columbus has given away more than 167,00 coats to children in need since the program’s inception seven years ago. During this period, the Stevens Point KoC Council 1170 gave 441 coats to Operation Bootstrap, a community-based organization in Stevens Point that helps families in need.
The KoC extends a big “thank you” to all community members who support its charity projects and Operation Bootstrap.
