Borden Kriese

Borden Kriese, 95, Waupaca, father of a Stevens Point man, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at Bethany Nursing Home in Waupaca.

Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, Dec. 3, at Bethany Home Chapel in Waupaca, with the Rev. Bryan Robertson officiating. Interment will be at Lakeside Memorial Park in Waupaca at a later date.

Visitation will be at the chapel from 10 a.m. Thursday until the services.

Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca assisted with arrangements.

Mr. Kriese was born Aug. 24, 1920, in the town of Weyauwega
in Waupaca County, a son of the late Arthur and Alice (Guyant) Kriese. He
attended St. Peter Lutheran School in Weyauwega.

He was married to Maurine Penney June 4, 1944, at Trinity
Lutheran Church in Waupaca.

He farmed with his father until 1946. From 1946 to August
1959, he worked as a salesman for Reek Motor Company. After leaving Reek Motors,
he and his wife purchased the Ford Agency in Manawa and lived there until he
retired in 1984.

After retiring, he and his wife spent several winters in
Mesa, Ariz., before moving to Waupaca.

Survivors include his wife, Maurine, Waupaca; two sons,
Robert Kriese, Waupaca, and William (Toni) Kriese, Stevens Point; one sister,
Lola Hartfiel, Weyauwega; two grandchildren, Daniel (Amanda) Kriese, Tomahawk,
and Kimberly Kriese, Fredonia; and one great-grandson.
