Michael Eugene Fritsche, 48, Pensacola, Fla., brother of a
Stevens Point man, died unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at Hilton Head Regional
Medical Center in Hilton Head, S.C., while visiting family for the Thanksgiving
holiday in Bluffton, S.C.


Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7,
at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will be
at Restlawn Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids Tuesday, Dec. 8.


Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Monday until
the services.


The family requests donations in his name be made to the
Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675
(woundedwarriorproject.org/give-back.aspx).


Sauls Funeral Home in Bluffton, S.C., and Ritchay Funeral
Home in Wisconsin Rapids assisted with arrangements. Condolences may be offered
online at www.ritchayfuneralhome.com.


Mr. Fritsche was born July 3, 1967, in Wisconsin Rapids, a
son of Joan (Rucinski) Fritsche and the late Eugene Fritsche. He attended
Wisconsin Rapids schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1986.


After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army.


He worked as a maintenance technician for First Service
Residential in Pensacola, Fla. Before moving to Florida, he worked for Wolosek
Landscape in Wisconsin Rapids.


He was married to Eleanor (“Nor”) Jeffrey Dec. 1, 1989.


Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Fritsche, Pensacola, Fla.;
his mother, Joan Fritsche, Wisconsin Rapids; four brothers, Steve (Linda)
Fritsche, Daniel (Barb) Fritsche and Kevin (Karen) Fritsche, all of Wisconsin
Rapids, and his twin, Rick (Tami) Fritsche, Stevens Point; three sisters, Paula
(Wayne) Tracy, Patti Punzel and Suzan (John) Siegler, all of Wisconsin Rapids.
