Rosemarie “Rosie” C. Eron, 77

Rosemarie “Rosie” C. Eron, 77 of Junction City, died Thursday afternoon November 26, 2015 at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Rose was born May 22, 1938 in Junction City. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie (Adamski) Wiernik. She attended local schools. Her marriage to Clarence P. Eron took place on July 15, 1961 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. After their marriage the couple settled in Junction City. Her husband Clarence died September 3, 1998.
Rose worked for SNE Manufacturing (Vetters) for many years as their secretary retiring in 1998. She then managed the meal site in Junction City for 14 years for the Portage County Department of Aging retiring from her position in 2013.
Rose enjoyed polka music and gambling trips. She also loved cooking, especially for family events, and was always there to take care of nieces and nephews in their younger years. Rose was known as a “2nd
Mom to Tammy, Tina, Jeffrey, Tracy and Tiffany, and was considered “Grandma Rosie” to their children. She always had a smile on her face and was willing to help anyone whenever she could. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Rose was a longtime member of the St. Bartholomew Rosary Society. Survivors include her three brothers; Donald (Leona) Wiernik and Chester (Caroline) Wiernik both of Stevens Point, and James (Geraldine) Wiernik of Junction City. Her sister Lorraine Kerchefski of Stevens Point and a sister-in-law Lorraine Wiernik of Junction City and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence and two brothers David and Richard Wiernik.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M Tuesday December 1, 2015 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Millcreek. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. Tuesday morning at St. Bartholomew Church until the time for mass.
