SPASH Basketball Routs Appleton East

In a decided victory, the SPASH varsity boys’ basketball team defeated the Appleton East Patriots 79-36 in non-conference play December 1.
The Panthers entered the game after 108-71 victory over the East Troy Trojans on November 28. Their season record now stand at 2-0.
SPASH more than doubled East in each half of the game, finishing the first half with 38 points to East’s 19 and the second half 41 to 17.
Leading the Panthers in scoring was senior guard Trev Anderson with 26 points followed by senior forward Sam Hauser with 17 points and sophomore forward Joey Hauser with 16. Sam Hauser and Anderson both earned double doubles; Hauser had 12 rebounds and Anderson banked 10 assists.
The Patriots’ senior forward Parker Ourada led his team with 12 points.
The Panthers travel to Milwaukee on December 5 to compete in the Terry Porter Classic against the Milwaukee Riverside Tigers at 4:30 PM. They then return to their home court on December 11 to play the Marshfield Tigers at 7:45 PM in the first game of conference play.
