Not A Supermarket Sweep: A 31-year-old Stevens Point woman was arrested for theft and multiple counts of bail jumping after attempting to steal nearly $1,000 of merchandise from the Stevens Point Copps grocery store at 9:00 AM.
Theft: Police were called to the Stevens Point Chrysler dealership on Hwy. 10 at 10:13 AM after an employee discovered an unknown suspect had stolen tires and rims from the property.
Crash: After causing a two vehicle crash on the 3200 block of Church St. at 10:29 AM, a 46-year-old Stevens Point man was cited with failure to yield while making a left turn.
Crash: A 59-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man was cited for unsafe lane deviation after causing a two vehicle crash on Clark St. and Second St. in Stevens Point at 1:28 PM.
Unlucky Strike: Police were called at 9:00 PM when an unknown suspect stole two packs of Salem-brand cigarettes from the North Side BP gas station.
Disturbance And Resistance: A 28-year-old Plover man was cited for resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to a disturbance on the 1300 block of Second St. in Stevens Point at 11:58 PM.
