Ann Marie Finnessy, 54, Hubertus, a Stevens Point native,
died Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at the Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee
Falls.


A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec.
18, in the Basilica of Holy Hill-National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in
Hubertus, with the Rev. Fred Alexander, OCD, officiating. Inurnment will be in
spring.


Visitation will be at the church from 3 p.m. until the Mass.


People attending the funeral are asked to wear red to honor her
memory because it was her favorite color.


Contribution may be made in her name to St. Mary of the Hill’s
Religious Education Program at 1515 Carmel Road, Hubertus, WI 53033.


The Shimon Funeral Home in Hartford assisted with
arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.shimonfuneralhome.com.


Mrs. Finnessy was born July 22, 1961, in Stevens Point, a
daughter of Esther (Iwanski) Megal and the late Ambrose Megal.


She was married to Steven Finnessy Oct. 22, 1983, at St.
Mary of Mount Carmel Church in Fancher in the town of Stockton.


She worked at Sentry Insurance in both Stevens Point and
Milwaukee, and then went to work for Strong Funds before deciding to become a
full-time mother.


She was the Holy Hill Arts Fair volunteer coordinator for
many years. She volunteered at church, schools and local events.


She traveled with her family to the Badlands, Alaska,
Hawaii, Scotland, Ireland and South Africa.


Survivors include her husband, Steven; two daughters, Kayla
(Dustin) Kwiatkowski, Iowa, and DeAnna Finnessy, Hubertus; her mother, Esther;
and five siblings, Carol (Perry Yaver) Megal, Bob Megal, Barb Megal, Tim (Lynn)
Megal and Mark Megal.


She was also preceded in death by one brother, Gari Megal.
