Panther Boys Basketball Remains Undefeated

The SPASH Panthers boys varsity basketball team remains undefeated after a 79-50 win over the Marshfield Tigers on December 11.
The Tigers came out with an early lead but the Panthers soon returned to typical form and ended the first half with a 39-30 lead. SPASH came into the game after another big victory, an 80-55 win over the Milwaukee Riverside Tigers on December 5. SPASH now stands at 1-0 in Wisconsin Valley Conference play and 4-0 overall.
Senior guard Trevor Anderson again led the Panthers in scoring with 26 points, 12 of which come from three-pointers. Sophomore forward Joey Hauser added 22 points and earned a double-double by taking down 14 rebounds. Senior small forward Sam Hauser also scored in the double digits, adding 14 points.
Joey Hauser and Anderson also had five assists each.
Lead scorers for the Tigers were senior guard Ethan Voss with 14 points and Grant Michaelis with 11 points.
The Panthers return to the SPASH fieldhouse on December 15 to take on the Wausau West Warriors at 7:30 PM and then travel to De Pere on December 18 to take on the Redbirds at 7:35 PM.
