Christmas Bird Count Held on Dec. 19

Local birders will fan out Saturday, December 19 to tally the birds they hear or see in a 24-hour period during the 2015 Christmas Bird Count.
The count, sponsored by the Aldo Leopold Audubon Society, covers a 15-mile diameter circle centered on the Old Main building at UW-Stevens Point.
The circle is divided into sections and teams of birders will canvass their respective sections and report back that evening the numbers and species observed.
