Mary Angela Zieper, 83, Eden Prairie, Minn., a Stevens Point
native, died Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, at Pax
Christi Catholic Church in Eden Prairie, Minn.

Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until
the Mass.

Mrs. Zieper was born Feb. 3, 1932, in Stevens Point, a
daughter of the late Carl and Josephine Sturm. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs
High School in 1950.

She was married to Bob Zieper in 1951.

After he returned from duty in Korea with the U.S. Army,
they moved to Minneapolis, where he worked in advertising.

They raised seven children and were active in their local
parish. She volunteered at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Edina and at
Pax Christi Catholic Community in Eden Prairie.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Robert H. Zieper;
seven children, JoEllen (Michael) Gohr, Columbus, Ohio, Lynn (Michael) Howard,
Portland, Ore., Jeanne (Simon) Root, Eden Prairie, Minn., MaryLee (John)
Cornwell, Woodbury, Minn., Robert F. Zieper, Eagan, Minn., James Zieper,
Denver, Colo., and Todd (Traci) Zieper, Apple Valley, Minn.; 20 grandchildren;
and five great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Rod, Carl,
Gene and Wally Sturm; and one sister, Marge Esser.
