Sixth Grade Team Wins Basketball Tournament

The Stevens Point sixth grade boys basketball Hoops Club finished in first place at Great Northwest Basketball League Championship held Dec. 12 and 13 in Eau Claire, Wis.
The team, comprised of sixth grade boys from across the district, finished first out of 32 teams from Wisconsin and Minnesota, winning all seven games in the tournament by 14 point or more.
Stevens Point was seeded third coming into the tournament.
