Deputy vs. Deer: A Portage County Sheriff’s deputy squad car was reported to have hit a deer on County Road HH and Green Tree Road in Junction City at 12:06 AM. No damage was sustained.
Who Do The Cops Call: Damage to a police squad car while it was parked at the Stevens Point Police Department was reported at 6:50 AM. Suspect is unknown.
Possession: A 19-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for possession of 3.3 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after being stopped by police for loud exhaust on Wilshire Boulevard North and Stanley Street at 7:38 AM.
Litterbug: A 17-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for littering on the 2900 block of Blaine Street at 9:21 AM.
Theft: Police were called at 3:30 PM by a 49-year-old Stevens Point man who reported that money and medications were stolen from his home on the 300 block of Division Street North by an unknown suspect.
