SPASH Defeats De Pere by 30

The SPASH Panthers varsity boys basketball team took to the road and defeated the De Pere Redbirds 99-69 on Dec. 18.
The Panthers remain undefeated after entering the De Pere game following a 77-24 routing of the Wausau West Warriors on Dec. 15. SPASH’s overall record stands at 6-0. Their record in Wisconsin Valley Conference play is at 2-0.
Senior guard Trevor Anderson continues to lead scoring for the Panthers with 25 points in this game plus seven assists. Sophomore forward Joey Hauser threw down another 22 points and senior small forward Sam Hauser added 17 points and seven rebounds.
Lead scorers for the Redbirds were senior guards Jordan Barthels with 18 points Zach Rabas with 15 points and junior forward Aaron Vopal with 13.
SPASH plays their next two games as part of the Sentry Classic Tournament at UW-Stevens Point. They take on the Sauk Prairie Eagles on Dec. 27 at 7:45 PM and return the next day to play the Muskego Warriors at 7:00 PM.
