Jeffrey Joseph Bahling Passed away suddenly December 20, 2015.   

Jeff was born June 23 of 1965 in Cudahy, Wis. Jeff Graduated from Cudahy High School and continued his Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture

Jeff is survived by his wife, Peggy (Paul) and sons Jack (18) and Luke (15). Preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn, and father, Donald. Survived by: step mother Wanda, Sister Fay Horak (Stan), two brothers Ronald, and Robert (Mary).  

Survived on Peggy’s side by mother in law, Patricia, Brothers John, Thomas (Jean), Patrick (Christine), Joseph (Dana) and Sisters Pam Alcala (Tony), Mary, Christy  Wuethrich (Tim), and Jennifer Meunier (Bryson).  Also: Many nieces and nephews, family members, and a multitude of friends.

Jeff worked at Rettler for 24 years in Project Management and Site Design/Master Planner. He was also involved in the American Society of Landscape Architects, served on the city of Stevens Point Park Commission, and as a Youth Area Football Coach.

Jeff married the love of his life and best friend, Peggy Paul, on July 29th 1995. Together they raised two incredible young men, Jack and Luke.

Jeff was a passionate sports fan, loved to fish, but most of all spend time with his family. You were always welcome in the Bahling home with hugs, love, and great food. One of Jeff’s greatest joys was to watch his sons play sports.  

Jeff was a loving man and very humble about his own accomplishments.  He has touched the lives of many young people in Stevens Point through coaching.  He was dearly loved by many.

Jeff could always be found on a Sunday in the fall cheering on the Green bay packers with his buddy dash at his feet. Whether it be watching sports with his family, grilling out with the family and friends. Jeff was always there for everyone.  

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday December 24, 2015, at St. Stephen Catholic Church 1401 Clark Street Stevens Point. Rev. Jerzy Rebacz officiating. Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pisarski Funeral Home 703 Second Street Stevens Point and again on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.
