December 18

Chim Chim Cheree: Fire crews were called after a 69-year-old Custer man reported a chimney fire at his home on the 400 block of County Road K in Custer.

Bail Jumping: A 27-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for a probation violation on the 1000 block of Maple Bluff Road at 10:40 AM.

Crash: After crashing his vehicle on Division Street North and North Point Drive at 12:31 PM, a 28-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for failing to yield while making a left turn.

Phone Threats: A 41-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for disorderly conduct and unlawful use of a phone at 1:31 PM after calling a title loan business and making threats when his wife’s car was repossessed.

Theft: Police were called at 3:21 PM by a 38-year-old Stevens Point woman who reported two bicycles were stolen from Madison Elementary School. The suspect is a 16-year-old Stevens Point boy.

Crash: A 21-year-old Idaho man was cited for inattentive driving after causing a two vehicle crash on Main Street and Country Club Drive at 3:50 PM.

iTheft: A 42-year-old Wausau man was arrested for theft at 3:53 PM after attempting to steal an iPod from the Stevens Point Shopko.

Noise Boys: After police responded to a noise complaint on the 2900 block of Fifth Avenue at 9:43 PM, a 21-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for permitting excessive noise at his residence.

Drugged Driving: A 22-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for driving while under the influence of a controlled substance on the 1500 block of Jordan Road at 10:43 PM.

December 19

OWI: A 23-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for operating while under the influence and improper registration of his vehicle after being pulled over on County Road II and Highway 66 at 12:40 AM.

Battery: A 24-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for battery and disorderly conduct after police responded to a disturbance on the 900 block of Main Street at 2:27 AM.

Hit-And-Run: A 34-year-old Stevens Point man was arrested for resisting or obstructing an officer and cited for hit-and-run involving injury, failure to keep his vehicle under control and improper registration of his vehicle after being involved in an accident on Highway 66 and I39 at 2:38 AM, leaving the scene and then running when contacted by police.

December 20

OWI: A 23-year-old Mukwonago man was cited for OWI on the 300 block of Division Street in Stevens Point at 2:08 AM.

Underager: A 19-year-old Stevens Point man was  cited for underage drinking on the 1800 block of Maria Drive at 3:15 AM.

Mailbox Fatality: Two mailboxes on the 3200 block of Minnesota Avenue were reported damaged at 9:45 AM.

Burglary: Police were called at 12:30 PM at a 61-year-old Stevens Point man discovered an unknown suspect had stolen jewelry and collectible coins from a safe in his home on the 1000 block of First Street.

Crash: A 19-year-old Plover man was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign after crashing his vehicle on Highway 54 and North County Road J in Plover at 8:27 PM.

OWI: A 47-year-old Stevens Point man was cited for OWI and operating without headlights on First Street and Water Street at 11:14 PM.
