POTD: Plover Says Something Big Coming Soon

Officials from Plover say something big is coming to fill the empty space formerly used by Denny’s, but they aren’t prepared to say what- yet.
The space has been empty for several months, since Denny’s closed suddenly earlier this year. The building, located in Crossroads Commons, previously was also home to Hudson’s Classic Grill.
Dan Mahoney, the administrator for Plover, confirmed the news during the village’s Dec. 15 board meeting.
“Until things are officially submitted to the Village of Plover, we aren’t able to share a name,” said Mahoney. “But it is a restaurant the community will be very pleased to see. We’ll just leave a little teaser there.”
A timeline for the restaurant unveiling was not immediately available, but Mahoney said he expects a site plan sometime in January.
The former Denny’s is located at 1250 Commerce Place in Plover.
