Patricia A. Sankey, age 70, of Stevens Point passed into the loving arms of God on December 21, 2015.

Funeral Services for Patricia will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday December 29, 2015 at Woodlands Church in Plover. Senior Pastor Brian Berg will officiate.

Visitation for Patricia will be held on Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Shuda Funeral Chapel – Stevens Point. A time for prayer and sharing will begin at 7:00 pm on Monday at the funeral chapel. Visitation will also be held from 9:00 am until the time of service Tuesday at Woodlands Church. Burial will be in the Guardian Angel Cemetery. A memorial in lieu of flowers will be established at a later date.

Patricia was born August 24, 1945 in Stevens Point, the daughter of Ben and Mary (Waldoch) Kizewski. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1963. Patricia married Robert S. Sankey on October 10, 1964 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. She worked for a few years at the Whiting-Plover Paper Mill before becoming a homemaker and raising their three sons. In 1988 Patricia began her career at

Community Industries where she worked for 24 years as a Training Specialist. She had a sincere love for those with special needs and the developmentally disabled; her calling in life was to assist those in need.

Her life was guided by her strong faith in Christ, knowing scriptures, and her prayer time. She dearly loved her grandchildren, time with her sons and sweetheart. Summertime church picnics were an especially enjoyable time for her and Fred to be out with family and friends.

Patricia is survived by her two sons: Dale (Andrea) Sankey, Plover and Troy Sankey, Weston. 5 grandchildren: Hannah, Rachel, Elliot, Jordan, and Nathan. Her sweetheart Fred Gburek, Plover. 1 brother: Norman and 3 sisters: Adeline, Rita (Emil), and Marilyn. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert in 2003, her son Mark, 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.
