Lila M. Spangler
Lila M. Spangler, 80, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Dec. 29,
2015, at Maple Ridge Memory Care in Plover.
Per her wishes, no services will be held, and her cremains
will be scattered in a private spot of her choosing. She was a member of the
Wisconsin Cremation Society.
Mrs. Spangler was born June 2, 1935, in Chicago, Ill., one
of four daughters of the late Edward and Julie Dolezal.
She was married to Kenneth Roberts Aug. 4, 1952.
After their divorce, she worked for the Meyercord Company
for many years.
She was married to Verlan Spangler Aug. 14, 1977.
They moved to Stevens Point.
She did general office work for Acorn Equipment Co., later
for Midwest Sign Co. and then for Haertel Monument. She retired in 1998.
Survivors include her husband, Verlan Spangler, Stevens
Point; and two stepsons, John (Donna), Mosinee, and Michael, Soap Lake, Wash.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Alice,
Ellen and Barbara.
