Stanley A. Hahn

Stanley A. Hahn, 88, Marion, Ill., a Plover native and
father of a Plover woman, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at the Veterans Administration
Center in Marion, Ill.
There will be no services at this time. Interment will be at
a later date.
Blue Funeral Home in Marion, Ill., assisted with

Mr. Hahn was born April 24, 1927, in Plover, a son of the late
Joseph and Mary (Ostrowski) Hahn. He attended local schools and worked on the
family farm.
He was inducted into the U.S. Army in September 1945 and
spent most of his enlistment in Germany.
He was stricken with multiple sclerosis (MS) and spent more
than six years in rehabilitation at the Wood Veterans Administration Hospital
in Milwaukee.
He was married to Mary Cordy in 1956.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; one daughter, Debbie (Martin) Kilmurray, Plover; two sons, Tom and Mark
Hahn, both of Marion, Ill.; and two granddaughters, Valerie Hahn, Atlanta, Ga.,
and Ashley Hahn, Herrin, Ill.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Frank,
Walter and Henry Hahn; and three sisters, Sophie Bluma, Florence Steckel and
Frances Hahn.
