Cecilia M. Stauss, 91, Stevens Point, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at Ministry St. Joseph Hospital in Marshfield.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at St. Peter Catholic Church, with the Rev. Arul Joseph V. officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery.

Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the Mass. St. Peter Rosary Society will pray a rosary at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Memorials in her name to St. Peter Parish would be
appreciated.

Pisarski Funeral Home in Stevens Point assisted with
arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com.

Mrs. Stauss was born Nov. 3, 1924, in Stevens Point, a daughter
of the late Thomas and Mary (Pehoski) Mahinski. She graduated from P.J. Jacobs
High School and received a certificate for perfect attendance for all four
years.

She was married to James Stauss June 12, 1948, at St. Peter
Catholic Church. He died March 3, 1973.

She was employed at Sentry Insurance until her retirement in
1985.

She was a member of the St. Peter Rosary Society Rose 19.

She traveled and played bridge, also volunteering at the
Lincoln Center.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathleen (Arnold) Mancl,
Milladore; and one grandson, Brian Mancl.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Tom; and one brother,
Albert.
