William Wendal Churchill, 87, Wisconsin Rapids, father of a Stevens Point man, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, at Renaissance Assisted Living in Wisconsin Rapids.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. James Douglas officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in the town of Grand Rapids in Wood County at a later date.

Visitation will be at the church from 1 p.m. Monday until the services.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran
Church.

Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids assisted with
arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.taylorfuneralhome.net.

Mr. Churchill was born July 23, 1928, in Valley Junction, Wis.,
a son of the late James and Jessie (Fell) Churchill. He graduated from Necedah
High School.

He was married to Beverly Machon May 8, 1954, at St. Paul
Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids.

He was employed by Consolidated Papers Inc. as an estimator
until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly; four children, Jan
(Randy Kell) Churchill, Annapolis, Md., Kay (Todd) Ferkey of Wisconsin Rapids, James
(Connie) Churchill, Stevens Point, and Kristin (Jaal Ghandhi) Churchill,
Madison; two sisters, Shirley (Carl) Voll, Baraboo, and Donna (Leslie) Nowicki,
Wisconsin Rapids; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Kent
Churchill.
