Brenda Lee “Ma” Hicks, 66, Wisconsin Rapids, mother of a Stevens Point man and former employee of a Plover firm, died Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.

Services will be at noon Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Bryan Lundquist officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Nekoosa.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, and again from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the services.

Mrs. Hicks was born July 29, 1949, in Wisconsin Rapids, a
daughter of the late Clarence and Betty Jane (Dusterdeck) Passineau. She
graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids in 1967.

She was married to Terry Hicks Nov. 16, 1971, in Port
Edwards.

She was employed as a line worker at McCain Foods in Plover
for many years until her retirement.

Survivors include her husband, Terry Hicks, Wisconsin Rapids;
five sons, William Passineau, Wisconsin Rapids, Terry (Tammy) Passineau,
Stevens Point, and Shannon Hicks, Jeff Hicks and Bob Hicks, all of Wisconsin
Rapids; one daughter, Lisa (Kyle) Gunderson, Benson, Minn.; five brothers; five
sisters; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
