SPASH Girls Now 5-8 With Sentry Classic Win

The SPASH girls basketball team capped off the 44th Annual Sentry Holiday Basketball Classic with a 56-36 win over Nicolet High School.
The win improves the Panthers record to 5-8.
The Panthers used a stout defense to hold the knights to just 15 points in the first half and took a 31-15 lead into the break during the Dec. 29 game.
SPASH sophomore Maggie Negaard demonstrated her skills in all three areas lighting up the board with 25 points on the evening including six 2-pointers, two 3-pointers and a perfect 7-for-7 from the charity stripe to lead the Panther scoring.
Taylor Beadles also hit for double figures pouring in 12 points; Brooke Tuszka, Halle Gregorich and Madisyn Rogan each added four points, while Lauren Gerads added three points and Hannah Worzella and Rachel Sullivan chipped in two points a piece.
