Norbert Winarski, 84, a Stevens Point native, died Sunday,
January 3, 2016, at Grace Edgewood in Altoona.

Graveside services will be held at Plover Cemetery in Plover
in the spring.

The family encourages donations to the Salvation Army or a charity
of one’s choice.

The Cremation Society of Wisconsin in Altoona assisted with

Mr. Winarski was born Nov. 29, 1931, in Stevens Point, a son
of the late Gertrude and Stanley Winarski. He graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.

Shortly after graduation, he moved to Waukesha and was
employed by Alloy Corporations until his retirement.

He moved to Eau Claire to be closer to his sister, Sylvia
(Laban) Miller.

Survivors include one sister, Sylvia (Laban) Miller; one sister-in-law,
Beverly Winarski; six nephews; six nieces; and his good friends, Norm and Janet
Steffanus, Nekoosa.

He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Jeanette
Nelson, Grace Ward and Margaret Witkowski; two brothers, George and Raymond
Winarski; and one nephew.
