SPASH Swims to Victory

The Stevens Point Area Senior High School boys swim team raced to a 106-63 win over Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln at the SPASH pool Tuesday, Jan. 5th.
Senior Ben Harris paced the Panthers with two individual wins and as a member of two winning relays. Harris took the 50-yard freestyle with a winning time of 22.38, and the 100-yard butterfly (57.38). He was also the anchor on the winning 200-yard freestyle relay, along with teammates Hunter Shulfer, Jared Kort, Daniel Hess and Ben Harris, finishing with a time of 1:41.82.
The 400-yard freestyle relay, which included Shulfer and teammates Chad Fanz, Jared Larson, Zach Dahlseng and Ben Harris, finished with a time of 3:40.83.
Junior Zach Dahlseng added two wins, including the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.05) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:17.61).
The Panthers will host Marshfield Thursday, January 14th and Wausau East Thursday, Jan. 21st at SPASH.
