Jane M. ‘Binkie’ Knippel

Jane M. “Binkie” Knippel, 53, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, from
a brain aneurysm while at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
At her request her organs were donated to others in need.
No services will be held.
The family suggests donations be made to the Portage County
Humane Society.
Ms. Knippel was born Sept. 21, 1962, in Merrill, a daughter
of the late Charles and Rosebud Knippel. The family moved to Stevens Point in
1967. She graduated from Stevens Point Area Senior High School.
She was a 1995 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau
Claire, with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing.
She was employed as a registered nurse at Planned Parenthood
in Marshfield and at Ministry Medical in Stevens Point in the OB Gyn
department. She was currently the health specialist at CAP Services Inc.
She had planned to marry Kevin Zinda in 2016.
Her hobbies included gardening, the outdoors and animals.
Survivors include four siblings, Sue (Lee) Beveridge, Toby
(Deb) Knippel, Todd (Chris) Knippel and Ken Knippel; her fiancé, Kevin Zinda;
his children, Lacey, Krista and Tanner; and nieces and nephews, Brita Hansen,
Lyra Kaminski, Taja Dahl, Logan Beveridge, Adam, Tracy, Eleanor and Elizabeth
Knippel.
She was also was preceded in death by one sister, Cam Dahl.
