World can’t ignore climate change anymore, time to contact Congress
To the Editor
The Paris Climate Conference held recently in the “City of Light” has, indeed, shed some much-needed light in the form of the 32-page Paris Climate Agreement – much more reader-friendly than the 6,000 page Trans-Pacific Partnership deal.
As we close out 2015, the warmest year in recorded history, we have to keep this momentum going and not let it cool as time passes. Spending another decade or so debating whether or not this concept of climate change exists is hardly an option.
The dire consequences of climate change affect us in countless ways, and we are all bearing witness to them. We must keep contacting members of Congress and urge them to support Congressional hearings on carbon fee and dividend. Emails only take minutes to compose.
