Lucille J. Rooks

Lucille J. Rooks, Lexington, N.C., who has several cousins
who live in the Stevens Point and Junction City area, died Sunday, Jan. 10,
2015, at Hinkle Hospice House of Davidson County in Lexington, N.C., after a 13-year
battle with multiple myeloma.
Mrs. Rooks was born April 8, 1946, in Milwaukee, a daughter
of the late Jacob and Agnes (Eder) Klismet.
She was married to Dan Rooks Sept. 3, 1966.
They made their home in Kingston, Wash., where she worked at
Hospice of Kitsap County.
Survivors include her husband, Dan, Lexington N.C.; three
sons, Sean (Jill), Loma Linda, Calif., Scott, Issaquah, Wash., and Ryan
(Abigail), Oakridge, N.C., two sisters, Laurie (Kent) Feldmann, Desert Hills, Ariz.,
and Rosemary Klassy, Apache Junction, Ariz., six grandchildren; two nieces; one
nephew; and aunts and cousins in the Stevens Point and Junction City area.
